Who processes your data
MYBOOKLAB, 51 impasse du Guéret, 69210 Lentilly, France, is the controller of the data collected on this site.
For any question or request: contact@mybooklab.fr
What we collect
When you validate the dungeon entrance, we record:
- your email address
- the pseudonym you choose
- the date and time you entered
During your crossing, we record:
- which pages of the book you consult the compass about, and the answer you were given
- how many consultations you have made
- the date and time you exit, if you find it
No data is collected before you validate the entrance.
Why
- To recognise you between visits, calculate the length of your crossing and issue your certificate.
- To operate the compass and produce the site’s public statistics in aggregate form.
- To display your pseudonym on the survivors page. The box is unchecked by default, and declining costs you nothing else.
- To tell you about future books. The box is unchecked by default.
What is public
If you consented, your pseudonym and the length of your crossing appear on the survivors page.
Your certificate carries your pseudonym and the date of your exit. It is designed to be shared.
Your email address is never displayed anywhere, at any time.
How long
Your data is kept while your account is active, then deleted after two years without a login.
Who else has access
No one. Your data is never sold, rented, or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, a US company, which processes data on our behalf as a processor.
Cookies
This site sets a single cookie, strictly necessary for it to work: it lets us recognise you between visits without asking for your address again. It lasts one year.
No advertising cookies, no trackers, no third-party analytics. That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across other websites, and we use no third-party tracking of any kind. There is therefore nothing for a Do Not Track signal to change.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its correction, deletion, portability, or object to its processing.
Write to contact@mybooklab.fr. We respond within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
